check it out, then donate.

covered by the new yorker featuring the schoeller shot

and the ny times

about one tenth of the whole project but a taste nonetheless.

made at columbia university's architecture program this summer. approx. 260 sheets of currogated cardboard. hand cut. measuring around 12x16x24"

a translation drawing above of many xacto slices, pen, and xeroxes culling the module found repeated below. (perhaps the worst scan piece together of a lifetime).

and some aesthetically pleasing precursors.

while biking iceland i brought one of my cousin's cameras ( sadly it took a hit the first day and 76 sheets of 4x5 were lost to light leaks from a 1mm shift in the lens plate ... 4 images made it through the trails of the softbox known as the sky. the abandoned herring factory was the lucky location and 3 are self portraits (my form is in 3 of 4 frames shot at long exposures)

or don't ... either way, when long term goals get mysterious 5 minute projects with thread and pulp do the trick

open for business

i quite like making stamps

a little welding and design work (sign, logo, business cards, and interior) for friends at lot 2 and it's up and running. a beautiful restaurant featuring locally grown food from upstate found in south park slope brooklyn... do it. (not my photo)

horrible shot above, but feat. a little metal fab. in action it looks much better... so just go to the restaurant (its rusted quite nicely)

camera prototype

many late late nights spent on SolidWorks and finally with the help of Kontraptionist's CNC router Kipp's camera mold was cut. pleased to have been able to help...

martin schoeller :: female bodybuilders

my first real project at Martin Schoeller's was putting on a female bodybuilder show at the Ace Gallery at Martin's opening and culling together all the bios of all the women in the book for the last 15 or so pages of Female Bodybuilders.
